promote the mission and goals of NCTM by-- 1. serving as a liaison between Affiliates and NCTM, working primarily with and through Partner Affiliates; 2. supporting and encouraging Affiliate activities that promote the goals of NCTM; 3. identifying and developing leaders of mathematics education; 4. encouraging membership in NCTM and Affiliates; 5. encouraging collaboration among Affiliates within a state/province; 6. supporting the development of Student Affiliates that promote the goals of NCTM; 7. Overseeing the Resolutions process, including the planning and facilitation of the Regional Caucuses and Delegate Assembly; 8. preparing an annual report for the Board of Directors, including a budget request for the committee.
