Author Malcolm Gladwell, author of "The Tipping Point" and "Blink," was the opening session speaker at the NCTM 2008 Annual Meeting and Exposition in Salt Lake City. Gladwell's new book, to be published this fall, addresses the determinants of success in mathematics.
