Go Green with NCTM
Join NCTM in "going green" by helping us minimize the amount of paper being used at the Nashville Conference and Exposition. NCTM has been providing recycling bins at conferences for badges, papers, and program books. Starting in 2009, NCTM will be taking these practices a step further by providing program books onsite only. Unless specifically requested, NCTM will not be mailing program books to registrants in advance. Instead, registrants are encouraged to view the program book online when it becomes available (late-August), where up-to-date information about the conference, housing, travel, and presentations will be provided.
The Online Conference Planner will also be available for attendees to learn more about presentations and to plan out conference schedules. Program Books will be available on-site at the meeting in several accessible locations. If you would prefer to have the program book mailed to you two weeks prior to the meeting, you will be able to check a box provided on the registration form.
Not mailing the program books prior to the conference will mean fewer copies will need to be printed and less paper will need to be used. NCTM will also be printing on recycled paper, to further lessen the impact on the environment. It may seem like a small thing, but this one action can make a huge difference. Please join NCTM in helping to preserve the environment.

Business casual attire is appropriate for all conference events. NCTM recommends that attendees dress in layers because of the variation of room temperatures. Comfortable shoes are essential.
