Annual Meeting and Research Conference Integration

  • Annual Meeting and Research Conference Integration

As part of the Research Conference transition announced in January 2024, beginning in 2025 in Atlanta, the NCTM Research Conference will complete its full integration with the NCTM Annual Meeting & Exposition.

What does this mean for me?

Peer-reviewed research to linking research and practice session proposal submission windows will now follow the same timeline as general Annual Meeting sessions (on/around July 1 - October 1, 2024).

The submission platform and process will remain unchanged, including the peer review procedures, as will the types of available sessions options, including research reports, symposiums, interactive discussions, poster sessions, as well as ways to showcase linking research and practice.

Accepted Research and Linking Research to Practice sessions will be searchable in the Annual Meeting online session guide and planner.

    About the Research Track

The NCTM Research Track brings together scholars and practitioners to build on collective research, highlighting the intricate connection between research and practice. This track aims to support community building as we work to inform K–12 mathematics pedagogy and practice that centers longstanding and pressing issues in the field.
