AMTNJ's secondary conference, "Math Practices in Action", is a
special one-day mathematics content conference on Friday, November 22, 2024, at
Brookdale Community College. We will feature a number of content and pedagogy
sessions related to teaching and learning in grades 6-12, including special
sessions on inclusion, new developments in mathematics education (pathways, AP
Precalculus, Digital SAT, and more), middle school math teaching, and more. We
welcome classroom teachers, administrators, math coaches, supervisors, college
professors, preservice teachers, and anyone else interested in deepening their
understanding of mathematics and equitable teaching strategies. We will have a
number of vendors on hand, as well as door prizes and meals for attendees included
as part of the day!
