Melissa Pearson is the Supervisor of Mathematics, K–5, and a former high school mathematics teacher for the West Windsor-Plainsboro Regional School District in New Jersey. Her work to redesign the district’s K–5 mathematics program focuses on increasing purposeful collaboration, empowering teachers as learners, sustaining reflective practices, and impacting social change through equitable mathematics instruction. She has presented at state and national conferences, including the NCTM Annual and Regional Conferences and the NCSM Annual Conference. Dr. Pearson earned her Doctorate of Education in Educational and Organizational Leadership at the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education.
