Accessibility and Inclusion

  • Accessibility and Inclusion

NCTM supports a safe and respectful environment that is focused on building a better community during your institute experience. We strive to host inclusive, accessible events that enable all individuals, including individuals with disabilities, to engage fully. For any ADA requirements, please contact NCTM Conference Services by email [email protected]. We must receive ADA requests before December 21, 2023

    American Sign Language Interpreters

If you require an interpreter, please submit your request before December 21,2023. After this date, NCTM cannot guarantee requests for interpreters can be fulfilled; however, we will make every effort to accommodate requests. Please note: On-site requests for interpreters cannot be guaranteed without advance notice.

    Visual Impairment

If you are blind or visually impaired and require an aide or personal assistant to help you navigate the Winter Institute, NCTM will register your aide as a complimentary guest (if the aide is not a teacher).

    Wheelchair and Scooter Rentals

Institute session room locations are sometimes spread out and distances between sessions can be considerable. If you can get along without a wheelchair but feel that you may need to navigate the distances at the hotel, electric scooters can be rented from:

    Code of Conduct

NCTM’s  Event Code of Conduct outlines expectations for all attendees, speakers, sponsors, exhibitors, service providers, and volunteers (collectively, “participants”) at NCTM virtual and in-person events. By registering for the event, you agree to comply with the policies. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate attendance for anyone who violates these guidelines. If you have a complaint or concern about harassment, discrimination, bullying, or any other conduct which may violate this Code of Conduct we encourage you to promptly notify our staff at [email protected].
